The OpenCrypt User Messaging Add-On enables your users to contact each other using a simple email-style system. This can be used as a private messaging system similar to those found on forums, or as a replacement for email which can be unreliable and insecure. Unlike emails the User Messaging system enables the site administrators to monitor messages which is a vital features for sites being used by minors.

The user messaging system consists of two elements, the frontend system which web site users use to contact each other, and the administration system which administrators use to monitor messages being sent by users.

You will need to login to use this system, if you would like to send a message to a user try sending to 'username2' as the recipient account must exist, if you are using an account you have registered you can send your message to 'username'.

The demonstration allows you to receive and send messages with no points charge, replying to a message costs 2 points and forwarding a message costs 1 point. All these charges are customisable and the points charging system can be easily disabled so messaging is free.
